Roulette Wheels for Sale
« on: November 18, 2010, 02:17:23 PM »
For those of you after a real wheel, I have the following available:

MK2 Hulxey
Mk7 Huxley with standard ball track

Both need to be refurbished - they've had their butts spun off. The mk7 has had the plastic from the pockets removed, so the metal is exposed with a lot of scratches and dints, but it does not really affect play. I'm sure it would lead to long term bias, as any significant differences in pockets does, but it wouldnt matter if you use it for something like computer practise.

Either wheel AUD$1000 plus delivery. Delivery within australia is $300 with TNT couriers. Outside Australia is usually around $1000.

Other wheels the supplier has in stock (changes often):

Loads of older model cammeghs, all in very good condition. They're just older designs and with more diamonds. They have a metal ball track which is good as it'll last longer.

Also have some Mk7 with Velstone ball tracks, but they'll need to be refurbished to bring them up to scratch.

Either way you can request a DVD from me, simulating the conditions you want. In some cases they're free, in others there's a small charge (cost price).

Is there any real benefit to buying a wheel when you just send dvds to us?

having your own wheel is a great for understanding and practise but I never found it was needed. Actually I found a cloth layout of the table as useful as a wheel.

I have a cheaper wheel (older cammegh) I got from steve but it does what I need with metal ball track so easy to maintain. If you get dvds from steve I suggest v1, v2 or v3 which are all the mk7 huxley velstone about 100 spins on each dvd.

I also have some other dvds from forester jafco and howe I can give you copies if your down my way but steves dvds are a lot better.

I also have dvds from my wheel but its not the same. I removed some of the diamonds so it is very similar to modern cammegh for the way the ball falls

The main benefits of your own wheel are:

i. Seeing and experiencing principles of wheels for yourself, so you learn quicker and more thoroughly
ii. Being able to do testing under whatever conditions you want, without needing to ask me for dvds
iii. Being able to practise with real wheel view

imo coming from someone with a wheel, having a wheel is great but it will mostly collect dust and take up space. You dont need it. Its more a luxury but youll still benefit from it.

Anyone can buy a cheap wheel, but it isnt the same as the real casino wheels. Or you can pay a fortune for the kind of wheel used by casinos. Its better and easier to just get whatever dvds you need from steve for the velstone wheel.

Saturn refers to the data logger. Typically a wheel called "saturn" is a mk7 wheel with velstone ball track.

New wheels range from $4000 - $15,000. The ones most used by casinos are usually $10,000+.
