How many bias wheels?
« on: December 14, 2010, 01:42:29 PM »
Just a general question for everyone. What percentage of wheels do you think have a bias worth exploiting?

I dont have time for chasing bias but am curious about it. steve was teaching me some shortcuts to check for bias in much less time so it got me thinking not to ignore it.

my thinking is you might not always be able to confirm a bias without getting lots of spins but you can still get an edge a lot of the time with a shorter analysis if you know what to look at

Every wheel has at least some bias. To say otherwise is saying a wheel is absolutely PERFECT. It's more a question of whether or not the bias is strong enough to bother with. There is a lot more to this, I mean LOTS. You are better off discussing this with me personally or at least in the player only sections.

Bias wheels are everywhere but they take more time to uncover. Sometimes you can do everything right and it turns out to be a wild goose chase for nothing so be prepared efforts dont always pay but thats how roulete can be

My advice is do the initial checks and sometimes you can identify causes. But otherwise you need to spend a lot of time when there are quicker and better ways to play

Been there done that. I'll never bother with bias again unless I see something on the wheel that would probably cause bias, and that's if I didnt use a computer. I think thats what you are saying jb

I while back I found a great biased wheel in Seoul. I collected over 2000 spin to confirm. Then a few weeks later I went back to play and the casino had upgraded to all new wheels.....

So they do exist but are time consuming to say the least.

I do believe there are enough biased wheels around but the problem is like you said todd, they can just change the wheels.

Get in, find a good wheel, use the best method for it as quickly as possible I guess.

The worst thing is when the table is very slow. I cant play like that and imagine collecting for bias.

If you play in a team you can occupy an empty table to blend in. as long as your partners dont take their time spreading chips but then you have to count their losses also

50% of time for finding the best wheel
30% of time getting data
20% playing

that's about right.

unless you have older ratty wheels around or spot a visible deficiency in the wheel, dont bother with bias I say.

yes jbe. at the start  knew I needed to find the better wheels. That much was obvious. But what  didnt know was how much easier some wheels are, and I did know understand properly what makes one wheel better than another. That was part of the turning point for me
