Thrive Documentary: Everyone should watch!
« on: November 21, 2011, 11:28:21 AM »
The following was first posted by Pactole from RF. I don't often recommend watching documentaries but when I do, they are worth it:

Here's a new documentary that came out on 11.11.11
called  THRIVE: What On Earth Will It Take?

You can watch the trailer here: (Official Trailer) THRIVE: What On Earth Will It Take?

The full THRIVE documentary at any of below links:

The Thrive Movement (thrivemovement.com) has produced the most comprehensive and complete video I have found of our world’s entire global situation–both our problems and their solutions. The subject range covered is vast and its presentation is concise, addressing world control mechanisms of energy, finance, education, health, food, media, scarcity, fractal banking, the military industrial complex, alien visitation, the NWO, and their surprisingly direct and simple solutions.

The range of contributors in the following film is broad, including G. Edward Griffin, David Icke, Steven Greer, James Gilliland, Deepak Chopra, Amy Goodman, Vandana Shiva, and many more.

THRIVE is an unconventional documentary that lifts the veil on what’s REALLY going on in our world by following the money upstream — uncovering the global consolidation of power in nearly every aspect of our lives. Weaving together breakthroughs in science, consciousness and activism, THRIVE offers real solutions, empowering us with unprecedented and bold strategies for reclaiming our lives and our future.

Are you a fan of David Icke, Steve?

I've been following his work for years. Can't wait to watch this.

David is one of many. But I believe he approaches some of what he has to say in the wrong way - in a way that makes people consider him a crackpot. I do believe he takes some things too far, but I wouldnt say some of what he claims is at all impossible.

Yeah, he is a bit 'out there', but the premise of what he's saying is normally sound. Like how we perceive things to be solid (which you touched upon in the primordials).

I prefer his stuff on 9/11, WW3, world government, vaccines, etc.

Yes no problem with that stuff.

Another person who is perceived as too wacky is Alex Jones. He comes across as fanatical and it turns a lot of people the wrong way. To many of the people he needs to reach, he does more damage than good, whether or not his information is accurate.

Absolutely unbelievable!! I actually watched the whole video and it just opened up my eyes to everything and the universe itself.

These central banks won't stop at anything...They control how we live our lives. Its true that when they said "No matter where you go in the world, the money is controlled by the banking system". Now that they have all that money can buy, they want global domination. It really is sickening how these corporations operate. The interest rate dilemma has been going on for as long as I can remember and it is no random incident at all...It all comes down to one purpose....and thats increasing wealth for these so-called "Government Banks" (Which in fact are privately owned) while others go in bankruptcy... Who gave these people this kind of power ? the power to print money and colonise peoples livess.

Suppressing cures is another discussion that really made me sick to my stomach. These Pharmaceutical companies have no morals. Its all about the money to them. I can't believe this is happening to the world.

Glad you benefited from it. Another good documentary is:
Zeitgeist Addendum

Control someone's money, and you control them. Thats the idea. With the right technology, we wont rely on trade or money as much, and they will have less power. That's why I focus so much on energy research.

Who gave them this power? One of my favorite quotes is "all that is necessarily for evil men to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

Zeitgeist Addendum is probably the best documentary I ever watched. Thank you soo much for posting this up. I think I watched a documentary similar to this but it was not as good as Zeitgeist Addendum, especially when they mentioned geothermal power and how there is 13,000 ZJ in the earth alone, with over 2000 ZJ of which are extractable. It definitely provides reliable, and renewable source of electricity...

The Venus Project is very much a possibility, but it can only happen if people come out of their norms and support the resource based economy and diminishing the current corrupt monetary system.

On another note, I am concerned about the education of our young bright minds of today in a resource based economy. If there is no incentive to find work after education then what is the point. I am not defending the monetary system, but if we want the resource based economy to work, we have to think about all the different areas that will affect our lives including work and education.

The only way education can contribute to the resource based economy is to help and preserver the environment and coming up with new technology concepts that is both friendly to the environment and productive. This will all be voluntary of course, as money or trading will not exist.

Incentives and civilization are the main areas that will change and transform the society in to being free from everything, having high quality life, free from debts and not seeing anything with price tags. Although this ideology sounds promising, there will still be scarcity of resources rather than money. Millions of years from today, wouldn't resources run out ?? And if they do run out, Won't we fall back in to the situation we were to begin with....Back to the corrupt world of greed in terms of trading resources in exchange for other resources or depriving resources from others because there is a fear that it will all come to an end??

I think in all faces of life, we will face scarcity one way or another. However I do respect the idea of renewable energy and how it could provide a healthy environment, but I think this will be fortunate for those who benefit from it at the beginning, for when there is enough resources to go around but unfortunate for those later on in the days when it does run out.

Jacque Fresco also mentioned that the resource based economy will not have military force, navis, prisons or any weapons of mass destruction. If a crime does happen or a conflict does occur, if there are no laws or regulations, how will you deal with individuals who for example murder, molest under age children or even create stories between two countries and cause conflict. What are the implications of this within a resouce based economy if there are no prisons?? How will you defend yourself if someone else has a weapon and you don't ?... I guess this question will be directed to the man himself but its also open for any suggestions.

We are a long way from not having laws and enforcement. But much of the current laws are based more around profit.

Also there is not a problem with the idea of money. Money is just for trade. The problems are:

1. A monopoly on instruments of trade (money). Currency should be free and anything of value. You can trade any object you want, but you are taxed on that too.

2. Excessive tax, most of which is used not to fund community projects, but to pay the interest to bankers for government loans, or billions on defence to bomb some poor afgan guy and his goat, to push oil or political agendas.

Try to make your own currency, or evade tax when you have signed liability to pay tax (this is another story), and expect to go to jail for periods as if you were a rapist.

In all, there are so many problems you may not know where to begin. Two of the biggest are developing free energy technology (there is better than geothermal), and changing how the monetary system works in particularly with debt and money creation. The banks are legal criminals.

One of my favorive sayings from martin luther king jr is "lets not forget that everything hitler did in germany was legal"

What Hitler did in Germany was beyond measure to what humans are capable of. This impacts the world at large and creates history between nations who are unable to forget what this man has done.

All that can be said in terms of saving this planet is to act now rather than in a few decades from now, when in 2030, it's predicted that population will rise to 8 billion people. Energy production alone will need to increase by 44 per cent to meet the demand of the population.

"Since money is the only initiator of action, are we to expect all the countries in the planet are to afford massive changes needed to revolutionize agriculture, water processing, energy production and the like, when the global debt pyramid scheme is slowly shutting the world down. From 1970 to 2010, poverty on this planet doubled due to this monetary system. Given our current state, would you see anything less than more doubling of  human suffering and mass starvation. And when there is economic collapse, the next phase we are going to see is a massive civil unrest. People will lose confidence in their elected leaders and will demand change. The scary part of all of this, is what happens if we are too late to change. If we don’t act now, then their might be a point of no return. We need to do all we can to avoid that condition".

We are so deep in to the system that we are just carrying on with our lives, like if everything is normal. If this carries on, one day will we will pay the consequences of our actions.

For sure there will be massive civil unrest. It is already happening. The debt will just get worse. For me more the question is when in the US will they stage an event, perhaps some infectious disease, to declare martial law. FEMA exists for it.
